OUR STORY
Spriggs Excavation, Inc., founded by Steve Spriggs in 2005, started as a small residential excavation firm in Durango, Colorado. Since then, we have expanded into a leading multi-state heavy civil contractor, now employing over 100 full-time professionals and operating a diverse fleet of more than 100 units, including scrapers, dozers, and motor graders.
Our expertise spans a full spectrum of excavation services, with a focus on mass excavations, electrical substations, right-of-way clearing, and renewable energy initiatives. Whether working on a single-family home or a vast 3,000-acre solar array, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service.
Despite our growth, we remain committed to preserving the personalized approach and attention to detail that defined our early days.
